The Undomestic Godess - take 2

I finished it.
I read the entire thing minus 10 or so pages this weekend. It was excellent. Sophie Kinsella's books are so much fun. If you love chick lit and need your spirits brought up, she is your author. You could also read Bridget Jones and company.
There is just one of Sophie Kinsella's books that I have liked less, but I have not written all the wonderful books that she has. There is a new one that I must also read.

Baby Mamma

This is a fun light movie starring Tina Fey as a 37 year old executive on a rampage to have a baby. Rampage is perhaps a strong word, but she is willing to pay $100 000, so you decide.
It had quite a few funny moments.

Invitation and Information

If anyone wants to write for a blog that makes no money, and that I am thinking should lose its ads because nothing is coming in, I invite you!
If people would click on the ads it would be a different story. I have clicked on them by mistake, but not very much.
Also if people would use the google search, it would also generate revenue!

Dubliners

I've started reading the Dubliners by James Joyce. It's interesting and not as tough reading as I thought (I read Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man in high school). To get the totality of the book, people must refer to the end notes. Some would argue Joyce is the best English writer after the Bard himself.

Leatherhead

This is a really good movie. George Clooney is extremely funny. And if you like it when someone sticks it to the man, this is your movie.
More later.

Still too Insane

I will make a point...to blog at a minimum once a week with either a book or movie.
Right now I feel like the Fugitive.
Except instead of running from the law I am running away from deadlines.

Too Much to Blog

If my work situation was always like it is now, I would never blog again.

Shutter

Shutter is a good remake of the Thai movie, but much less chilling. It is made in the same style as The Grudge and The Ring or even One Missed Call. The Aisian versions are always better, in general, but I don't know if it's the case for One Missed Call. However, both versions are scary and the Aisians have brought something new to the table. The funny thing is is that the bad guy or in these cases are often reincarnations of a dead and often wronged women.
In this case, the movie starts with an American newly wed couple running over a woman in the street. they must live with the guilt and repurcussions of this event. Things get even worse when the wife finds out the dead woman is someone from her husband's past.
