Bideshead Revisited

So beautiful, so passionate and reserved. It is a must see. If you like Evelyn Waugh or the modernists, or the British movies based on lit this is excellent.
If you think they are like watching paint dry it is not for you.
I must read the book!

In Her Shoes

this is a fun chick lit book by Jennifer Weiner.
If you like Helen fielding (Bridget Jones) and Sophie Kinsella (Shopaholic), you will like this. It is less outrageous and all about mememe than siome chicklit books I have read. I coundn't put it down. Not as good as or the same as Lunar Park, but a lot of fun.

Lunar Park

Bret Easton Ellis rocks with this latest novel. He weaves biography with fiction and beyond with a version of himself as the lead character. We know that some of the biography is fact and some is fiction. However, we are not always sure what is fact and what is fiction. This is my favourite since Less Than Zero and I can not wait for Imperial Bedrooms.
I would love a Lunar Park Movie

Savage Grace

this movie has something for everyone:
From mental illness to murder to homosexuality to a very strange case of incest.

I want to believe

I want to believe that there will be another X-Files movie.
I loved the show ans the first movie wac pretty good.
I miss this amazing show.
THe movie at times a little slow, but still wonderful. We finally get to see what was going on with Mulder and Scully. And although not a thourouly an X-files case the premise was good.

a very dark knight

If you want to see total genius, and a character who seems insane go see Batman.
Heath Ledger's interpretation and the whole movie is not done in a cartoon way like when Jack Nicholson portrayed the Joker. It was cartoonish then. I think the batman movies are headed in a very good direction even if I loved the prior Batmans.

Mama mia

oh my mama mia was good. I've heard Maryl Streep's goal was to mortify her kids. if there was an oscar for that...it would be her's.
